The Brighton and Hove Wellbeing Service is an NHS Primary Care service supporting people from age four years upwards in Brighton and Hove.
We offer a range of mental health support for common mental health problems, such as low mood, stress, anxiety and depression. The service is staffed by a team of qualified mental health specialists who deliver evidence based care with an aim to support people to achieve their goals. We also offer short term therapeutic interventions for children and young people who do not meet the threshold for Specialist CAMHS.
We are a community-based service and have clinics in a wide variety of locations across the city, including many GP practices so that our service users are able to access the support in a place that is convenient for them. We also offer therapy over the phone and provide online therapy for people that may prefer an online format or would like appointments in the evenings or at weekends.

or you can call NHS111 if you urgently need help or advice but it is not a life-threatening situation.
The Brighton and Hove Wellbeing Service is not an emergency service and does not pick up messages outside of normal working hours of 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday.
If you feel you are not able to keep yourself safe, and do not need immediate medical assistance, you should contact the Mental Health Rapid Response Service which is able to offer immediate support. They can be reached on 0300 304 0078 (open 24/7, Mon – Fri. weekends and bank holidays).
Outside of these hours you should make contact with A&E.
